JPEG Locker is built with privacy at its core. This policy explains what data we collect and how we handle it.

The App

JPEG Locker runs 100% offline. It does not:

• Collect analytics or telemetry
• Make network requests
• Send crash reports
• Require an account

All encryption, encoding, and decoding happens locally on your device. Your images, messages, passwords, and files never leave your machine.

The Website

Waitlist form

If you submit your email through our waitlist form, it is processed by Web3Forms. We use your email solely to notify you about product availability. We do not sell, share, or use your email for any other purpose. You can request deletion at any time by emailing hello@jpeg-locker.com.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics service. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. All data is aggregated — no individual visitors are tracked.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies.

Auditable Core

The crypto and steganography engines that JPEG Locker builds on are open source. You can inspect the code that handles your data in the stegano-rs repository.
